Position: Full-Time Carpenter

Location: [Burnside, VIC]

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Superannuation

About the Role

n

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing construction team. The successful applicant will work on residential and commercial building projects, delivering high-quality carpentry work while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
n
Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials.
n
Construct, install and repair frameworks, walls, roofs, flooring, staircases, doors and windows.
n
Install skirting boards, architraves, cabinetry and other fixtures.
n
Carry out formwork, cladding, decking and renovation work as required.
n
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
n
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and building regulations.
n
Maintain a clean and protected work environment in accordance with WHS requirements.
n
Work collaboratively with supervisors,



tradespeople and clients to complete projects on schedule.
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
AQF Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
n
At least 1 year of relevant post-qualification work experience .
n
Sound knowledge of construction methods, building codes and safety regulations.
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
n
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
n
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
n
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
n

Desirable Experience

n

n
in residential and commercial construction.
n
Working at Heights, EWP or First Aid certification.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
