Teacher - Physical Education, Sport & Health

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Physical Education (PE) and Sport & Health Teacher to deliver high-quality classes to our students.

n

This is a full time, fixed term position, commencing in Term 1, 2027 until December 2027.

n

Duties and Responsibilities

Enthusiasm in teaching Physical Education & Health.
n
Interpersonal and organisational skills.
n
A detailed knowledge and understanding of the curriculum for PE, Sport & Health.
n
A skilled team approach to teaching.
n
Commitment to Before School Sport Academy.
n
Understanding how assessment and evaluation promotes learning.
n
Ability to adapt to creative learning environments where individuals feel secure and valued while being challenged to define and pursue their own interests.
n
Identifying, reflecting and implementing good practice in teaching.
n
Communicating openly and effectively with peers, students and parents.
n

Role Requirements

Experience in teaching Physical Education & Health.
n
Competency with digital technologies.
n
VIT registration is essential.
n
An understanding of the national curriculum and different teaching methodologies.
n
Excellent communication skills.
