Maintenance FitterAbout Rocbolt Resins Australia

Rocbolt Resins Australia is seeking a versatile, trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team at Smeaton Grange.

n

We operate two production shifts, covering approximately 20 hours per day, and employ around 60 people. You will join a supportive, close-knit maintenance team of six in a permanent, long-term position.

n

About the role

n

n
Permanent full-time position
n
Monday to Thursday - 40 ordinary hours per week
n
Friday overtime may be available for production support and maintenance work
n
Occasional weekend work for projects
n
Work within a collaborative maintenance team supporting production operations
n
Convenient Smeaton Grange location, close to Narellan Road
n

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and safely
n
Perform planned preventive maintenance
n
Complete daily and weekly equipment inspections
n
Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance across a range of plant and equipment
n
Identify and resolve mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
n
Communicate clearly with the Maintenance Manager, supervisors and senior production personnel
n




Work collaboratively with maintenance and production team members
n
Work effectively without supervision when required
n
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and housekeeping
n

About you

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
A relevant trade qualification or extensive experience as a Maintenance Fitter
n
Previous experience in a similar maintenance role
n
Experience working with pumps, filters and conveyors
n
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
The ability to respond with urgency while maintaining safe work practices
n
A positive, team-focused attitude
n
A reliable, motivated and practical approach
n
Robust attention to detail and pride in your work
n

Desirable qualifications and experience

n

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

n

n
Electrical disconnect/reconnect qualification
n
Welding and fabrication experience
n
Forklift, EWP, confined-space or working-at-heights certification
n
Experience operating milling machines and lathes
n
