The Opportunity
Building and improving accounting processes, controls and reporting frameworks
Preparing monthly management accounts, consolidated reporting packs and variance analysis
Managing annual budgets, forecasts, project feasibilities and cash flow reporting
Accounting for debt facilities, investment transactions, capital contributions and distributions
Overseeing BAS, payroll tax and other compliance obligations
Managing month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset registers
Partnering with external advisers, financiers and suppliers
Supervising and mentor an Assistant Accountant
About You
CA or CPA qualification
Solid technical accounting expertise from audit/business services or real estate, property development or funds management industry experience
Knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements
A commercial mindset and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a changing early-stage business environment
