About the Role

Join AVADA Group, a growing ASX-listed infrastructure services business operating across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including consolidations, journals, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong financial controls
Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, and support the annual budgeting process
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial system enhancements
Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insights and decision support




Mentor and support junior finance team members
Contribute to finance projects and broader business initiatives

About You
CA or CPA qualified
Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
5+ years' experience in financial accounting within a commercial environment
Strong technical accounting, tax, compliance, and audit knowledge
Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting systems experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
Previous supervisory or mentoring experience is highly regarded
