Glad Group Services is seeking skilled and customer-focused Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment within a shopping centre located in the Eastern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre including internal and external areas.
Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms.
Respond to incidents, emergencies and customer assistance requests.
Provide excellent customer service to visitors and tenants.
Manage access control and monitor suspicious activity.
Complete incident reports and maintain security logs.
Assist with emergency evacuations and safety procedures when required.
Work closely with centre management and other onsite teams.
Skills And Experiences
Skills & Qualifications
Valid security licence.
Previous security experience preferred (retail or commercial environments advantageous).
Robust communication and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Positive observation and reporting skills.
Customer service mindset.
Working Conditions
Rotating shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.
Combination of indoor and outdoor patrol duties.
