Screw Flights Australia is looking for a reliable Factory Hand / Production Labourer to join our small manufacturing team.

n

This is a permanent, full time position offering stable weekday hours, on-the-job training and an immediate start for the right person.

n

About the Role

n

You will assist with the production of sectional screw flighting and custom steel components for customers across Australia.

n

Your duties will include:

n

n
Operating a manual hydraulic press
n
Setting up and changing press dies
n
Handling and moving steel components
n
Packing orders for dispatch
n
Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
n
General factory cleaning and housekeeping
n
Following workplace safety procedures
n

n

The work can be repetitive and physically demanding. You must be comfortable lifting heavy steel, working on your feet throughout the day and completing hands-on production work.

About You

n

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable and committed to a long-term position
n
Takes pride in doing their work properly
n
Can follow instructions and retain training
n
Is comfortable working independently once trained
n




Has mechanical aptitude and experience using hand or power tools
n
Is physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting
n
Has full Australian work rights
n
Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Holds a forklift licence or is willing to obtain one
n
Is available for occasional weekend overtime when required
n

n

Previous factory or manufacturing experience would be helpful, but hydraulic press experience is not essential. Training will be provided to the right person.
