As a Life Support System Technician, you'll be responsible for operating, maintaining and improving the life support systems that service Sea World's marine animal pools. This hands-on role combines technical maintenance, water quality management and system operations to help create optimal conditions for our animals and world-class guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

n

Supporting the day-to-day operation of our life support systems, you'll be:

n

Conducting daily inspections and operational checks of life support systems.
n
Performing backwashing and routine maintenance to keep filtration systems running efficiently.
n
Maintaining optimal water quality to support marine animal health and welfare.
n
Undertaking water testing and analysing results to ensure required standards are met.
n




Assisting with the maintenance and repair of pumps, filtration equipment and associated systems.
n
Monitoring chemical stock levels and safely handling, transporting and decanting chemicals.
n
Collaborating with other departments to support maintenance and operational requirements across marine habitats.
n
Participating in after-hours maintenance and emergency response work as required.

What We7re Looking For

n

We're seeking someone who is hands-on, safety-focused and enjoys solving problems. You'll bring:

n

n
Previous experience working with large aquarium, aquatic or filtration systems (highly desirable).
n
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting pumps and associated equipment.
n
Knowledge of PVC plumbing repairs and maintenance.
n
Solid mechanical aptitude and a practical, hands-on approach.
n
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
n
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
n
Flexibility to support after-hours maintenance requirements when needed.
