Head of Finance | Founder-Led Retail & E-Commerce | Brisbane

This is a rare prospect for a commercially driven finance leader to join one of Australia's most exciting retail and e-commerce brands at a pivotal point in their growth.

THE ROLE

n

Reporting to the executive leadership team, the Head of Finance will take ownership of the finance function and build the frameworks the business needs to grow - budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and commercial reporting.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role with a transparent pathway to CFO.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

n

n
Build and own budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow models
n
Provide commercial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
n
Own working capital management and surface financial risks proactively
n
Oversee month-end close, management reporting, and financial controls
n
Lead and develop a small,



close-knit finance team
n
Drive improvement across financial systems and reporting tools
n

n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
8+ years in commercial finance, FP&A;, or senior finance leadership
n
Background in retail, e-commerce, or inventory-driven businesses preferred
n
Proven experience building forecasting and reporting frameworks from scratch
n
Solid working capital, inventory, and margin knowledge
n
Confident communicator - able to simplify financials for non-finance stakeholders
n
CPA / CA preferred
n
