What You'll Be Doing
Building high-performance UI features using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
Collaborating with UX designers to turn wireframes into pixel-perfect components
Working closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and optimise client-server workflows
Improving performance, accessibility, and Lighthouse scores
Participating in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning
Helping shape UI standards, component libraries, and styling frameworks

Key Responsibilities
Develop & maintain reusable frontend components
Optimise rendering performance and bundle size
Debug complex issues across browsers and devices
Implement test coverage using Jest / React Testing Library
Contribute to documentation, design decisions, and team guidelines

Required Skills & Experience




3+ years' experience in up-to-date frontend development
Solid proficiency in:React TypeScriptHTML5 / CSS3 / SCSSREST APIs / GraphQL
Familiarity with:Next.jsWebpack / ViteGit workflowsUI libraries (Material UI, Tailwind, Chakra, etc.)
Solid understanding of:Responsive designState managementAccessibility (WCAG 2.1)Browser rendering & performance tools

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Node.js
Design tool familiarity (Figma, Adobe XD)
Experience working within an Agile or Scrum environment

Salary Range

AUD $110,000 - $140,000 + superannuation (Depending on experience)
