Forklift Operator role at Hillebrand Gori - A company of DHL. Based in Outer Harbour, SA. As a Forklift Operator, in this full time role based in Outer Harbour, SA, you will play a crucial part in the freight and cargo forwarding operations of the company, ensuring the seamless Operation and Administration at the warehouse.

Responsibilities

n

n
Maintenance of Warehouse to ensure internal & surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
n
Operating a Forklift and adhering to forklift safety requirements.
n
Ensure storage of goods & packaging materials are handled in accordance with Industry standards.
n
CHEP Pallet or other owned or hired pallets, control and general stock control processes are adhered to.
n
Ensure that customer service and quality targets are met or exceeded.
n
Identify areas of cost savings, safety risk and process improvements within the warehouse operation.
n
Check all loading plans / photos are completed along with receipt and dispatch paperwork is also issued.
n




Ensure all received goods are correctly stored in their designated areas and pallets put away safely.
n
Report any major discrepancies to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
n
Assist with new developments and business.
n
Assist team leader with month end process and weekly closing of financial files.
n

Qualifications and Skills

n

n
Working knowledge of all warehouse activities and safety rules within Outer Harbour Warehouse operations.
n
Driver Licence
n
Forklift Licence
n
White Card
n
