gforce Employment + Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Officers to support operations at the Geelong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hands-on maintenance professionals looking for versatile casual work across a variety of shifts, including weekdays and evenings.

Penalty rates paid in accordance with the relevant award

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

n

n
General building and facility maintenance
n
Minor repairs and preventative maintenance
n
Basic carpentry, painting and patching
n
Replacing fixtures and fittings
n
Setting up and packing down event spaces
n
Responding to maintenance requests
n
Maintaining a secure, clean and organised work environment
n

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:





n

n
Proven handyman or general maintenance experience
n
A current White Card
n
A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Steel-capped safety boots, high-visibility clothing and appropriate PPE
n
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A trade qualification is highly regarded but not essential
n
