We are looking for a Corrosion Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. The role offers a career path focused on corrosion science within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
n
n
Onsite condition assessment of water industry assets such as pipelines, reservoirs, treatment plants and network assets (pump stations).
n
Electrochemical testing of soils and water.
n
Preparation and review of durability plans.
n
Failure analysis of events: investigating causes and developing solutions to prevent future defects.
n
Writing clear and concise reports to communicate findings to clients.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor's degree in materials, civil engineering or equivalent.
n
Solid problem‐solving skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
n
Well‐developed written and verbal communication skills.
n
Passion for learning and mentoring junior team members.
n
Willingness to travel to client sites across NSW, as needed.
n
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
n
Experience with ROV and/or RPAS is an advantage.
n
Knowledge of risk management and design‐related risk identification.
n
Commitment to safety and adherence to HSEQ systems.
