The Position

An exciting prospect has become available for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join a structured team to support with end-to-end accounts payable processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in busy and fast-paced environments and takes pride in collaborating with others. While accounts payable expertise underpins this role, its defining feature is the opportunity to act as a trusted senior presence within the team, contributing to operational governance, quality assurance, and the growth of Accounts Payable Officers.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain responsibility for an allocated portfolio of supplier accounts
n
Review and quality‐check work completed by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to process
n
Manage and resolve complex supplier statement reconciliations
n
Assist management with day‐to‐day operational oversight, including workflow coordination and workload tracking
n
Monitor progress against KPIs, identifying risks to payment deadlines and escalating where required
n
Support reporting activities,



including reconciliation status, aging, and exception tracking
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a structured, process‐driven environment
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
Demonstrated experience in a complex or senior accounts role
n
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. reconciliations, spreadsheets, tracking)
n
Reliable, collaborative, and confident operating within established processes
n
