Play-Protected Services is a manufacturing company working with playground and sporting equipment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and physically able staff member to join our metal fabricator team.
Key responsibilities are as follows;
Fabrication and installation of metalwork (including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium)
MIG welding
Interpreting drawings and reading and understanding instructions
Assembly work
A commitment to a clean and tidy workspace
Be able to complete manual handling tasks
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Moderate tool work ie drills, angle grinders, routers, drop saws
Compliance with company Code of Conduct, operational guidelines and OH&S; procedures
Always use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and be responsible for own personal OH&S;
Good English communication skills
Positive problem-solving abilities
Robust work ethic to do the job right first time, every time
This role needs to work well in small teams and on their own. Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one if needed) preferrable
