About the role
The System Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. This role ensures that IT infrastructure runs efficiently, securely, and without interruption to support organizational operations.
Key Requirements
Install, configure, and maintain window servers
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies
Perform SSO enablement and integration for applications Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are up to date and effective
Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes Maintain security policies and procedures, including antivirus and firewall management
Support virtualized settings such as VMware and Cloud Platform such as Azure
Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT staff Document system configurations, changes, and processes
Monitor server performance using monitoring tools Collaborate with other departments and vendors to support IT-related initiatives
Install and maintain SSL certificates
Deploy software as package through Intune
Support business as usual (BAU) and project work simultaneously
Experience
Proven experience as s System Administrator
In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems
Knowledge of identity and access management systems (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP)
Subject Matter Expert on VMware and associated tools
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite
Expert knowledge on SSO integration and configuration
Strong understanding on authentication tools and protocols such as SAML, OAuth
xperience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation
Solid experience on Azure cloud technologies
Solid Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
Excellent understanding of storage infrastructure including block, NFS, object etc.
Working knowledge of backup tools such as Commvault, Rubrik etc.
Working knowledge of Intune and MDM
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Relevant certifications are must
