The Role

n

You will join a fun, hardworking, and energetic housekeeping team who are responsible for ensuring all hotel linen, employee uniforms, and guest items are in positive repair.

n

Day to Day

n

n
To provide a professional and courteous service at all times.
n
To count and check that Guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning items correspond with the completed Laundry & Dry Cleaning docket.
n
To liaise with Laundry Service Provider regarding Laundry and Dry Cleaning procedures.
n
To efficiently use washing machines and dryers to launder guest items and staff uniforms.
n
To perform handwashing of delicate or specialty items when necessary, ensuring careful handling and proper cleaning.
n
To allocate uniforms to recent employees and inspect all uniforms to ensure they are maintained in good repair.
n




To inspect all uniforms to ensure they are in positive order and are maintained in good repair, ensuring hems, zippers, buttons and any other repairs are attended to.
n

Qualifications

n

n
A good understanding of English so that you can communicate with each other and our guests.
n
No issues with bending, lifting, and walking for long periods.
n
Be flexible enough to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
