Job Description

Oversee and manage inventory accounting processes and procedures.
n
Prepare and review financial statements related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
n
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management practices.
n
Analyse inventory variances and provide actionable recommendations.Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
n
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
n
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions effectively.

The Successful Applicant

n





A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

n

n
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
n
Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent).
n
Strong knowledge of inventory accounting processes and standards.
n
Proven ability to analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights.
n
Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
Solid communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
