As a Maintenance Fitter at our rPlastics facility, you'll be responsible for ensuring safe, productive, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. You'll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.

Shift: Monday to Friday, day shift (6am to 2pm)

Pay rate: $50.00 per hour + OT

Responsibilities
n
n
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
n
Install and upgrade mechanical systems and equipment.
n
Keep accurate maintenance records in line with quality standards.
n
Support continuous improvement activities to ensure all systems are efficient, transparent and deliver required results.
n
Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted.
n
Monitor all outgoing material to ensure quality compliance.
n

Qualifications
n
n
Recognised trade qualification (Fitter).
n
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
n
Hands on practical experience in a maintenance environment.
n
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem‐solving skills.
n
Forklift licence desirable.
n
You will be required to meet Visy's employment criteria which will include a criminal history check and pre‐employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing).
