This is a great prospect for an experienced civil operator / labourer looking for consistent hours and ongoing work with a local council.

About the role:

You will be working as part of the Roadside & Drainage team, assisting with civil maintenance & drainage works across the area. The successful applicant will be reliable, physically fit and confident working in a civil setting.

Duties:
Undertake maintenance & repair of kerb and gutters, table drains, pits, culverts, stormwater infrastructure and road shoulders
Undertake concrete works, including preparation, formwork, placement, finishing and repairs to kerb, gutter, pits and associated infrastructure
Carry out pipe laying,



drainage installation ad repairs, including stormwater pipes, culverts & associated connections
Work around live roads and traffic, following traffic management and worksite safety procedures
Undertake other reasonable civil maintenance duties consistent with the position and operational requirements

To be successful you will have:
Moderate to high civil experience
Experience with roadside drainage or similar civil works
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
White card
