Key Responsibilities
Manage a low volume portfolio of major loss and commercial insurance projects, with a strong focus on quality rather than quantity.
Prepare accurate, detailed and commercially sound estimates for complex insurance building works.
Develop comprehensive scopes of works and tender documentation to clearly communicate project requirements.
Ensure all estimating and supporting documentation is professionally presented, accurate and to a high standard.
Prepare documentation following the estimating process to ensure projects are ready for tender, approval and construction.
Maintain a robust focus on quality, attention to detail, presentation and technical accuracy throughout the estimating process.
About You
You may currently be working as a Major Loss Estimator and looking for your next challenge, or you could be an experienced Residential Estimator ready to make the move into commercial and larger loss work.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience in insurance estimating and/or building
Strong understanding of building methodology and scopes of work
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to produce accurate, high-quality estimates and documentation
A genuine desire to progress your career within the insurance and construction industry
