Trade Electrical is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse & Trade Counter Assistant team member to assist with day-to-day operations across the warehouse, customer service, deliveries, quoting and order processing.

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone with previous electrical wholesaler experience who understands the pace of a trade counter and warehouse setting.

About the Role

Processing customer orders
n
Picking and packing stock
n
Receiving and putting away deliveries
n
Organising and maintaining warehouse stock
n
Assisting with local deliveries when required
n
Supporting trade counter, phone and email enquiries
n
Liaising with customers and suppliers
n
Working closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure stock, orders and customer requirements are handled efficiently
n
Supporting streamlined day-to-day operations across sales, procurement and warehouse functions
n

Hours
n
We are ideally looking for someone available Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm,
however there may be some flexibility with hours for the right person.

About You
n
n
Previous experience working in an electrical wholesaler or similar trade supply setting - essential
n
Good product knowledge across electrical materials and components
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Positive communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a small teamForklift licence preferred, but not essential
n
A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
n
