This is a hands-on role where you will be working on Marine contracts, servicing and maintaining critical climate control systems in a dynamic maritime workplace.
Key responsibilities
Installing, commissioning, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems on marine vessels and naval platforms
Fault-finding and repairing refrigeration circuits, compressors, and control systems in marine environments
Reading and interpreting HVAC schematics, system drawings, and technical specifications for naval applications
Wiring and testing electrical components, thermostats, and field devices in confined marine spaces
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance to keep critical cooling and climate control systems operational
Working in compliance with maritime safety standards and naval specifications
About you
A valid NSW HVAC License (essential)
Proven experience as an HVAC technician,
ideally with marine or naval sector experience
Hands-on experience with marine refrigeration systems, compressors, and HVAC controls
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across HVAC electrical and mechanical faults
Confidence reading HVAC schematics and marine system drawings
Experience working in confined spaces and high-compliance maritime settings preferred
Knowledge of maritime safety standards and naval specifications a plus
