About the role

Harvey Norman's IT Department delivers innovative, strategic technology solutions and critical projects that support both the Australian business and the global Harvey Norman network with scalable, consistent services.
n
Based at Harvey Norman's Corporate Office and reporting to the Test Manager, you will play a key role in validating planned system upgrades to ensure their effectiveness prior to deployment.
n
Responsibilities
n
Assist in test planning, create test cases and perform testing.
n
Report on progress of testing.
n
Assist in test environment setup and maintenance.
n
Contribute to the development of a comprehensive knowledge base to support training and cross-skilling initiatives.
n
Analyse and address production defects and issues.
n
Provide end user support as required.
n
About you
n
Previous experience working within a Harvey Norman, Domayne,
or Joyce Mayne franchise is preferred for this role. Retail background ensures you have a strong process knowledge in areas such as cash and invoice sales, receipting, stocktaking, and purchase ordering.
n
You should also have a keen interest in IT and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment. Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Testing certifications (ISTQB Foundation or similar) is preferred.
