The Role
As a Mechanical Labourer, you’ll be responsible for the assembly & fit out of special purpose vehicles within a manufacturing workplace. You’ll work as part of a small team, contributing to multiple major upcoming projects. The role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to develop your technical skills.
Duties
Assemble and fit out vehicle bodies and components
Read and interpret plans and technical drawings with robust numerical skill set
Use hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical assembly
Work independently and collaboratively within small teams
Maintain a safe and organised work environment
Skills & Experience
Tinkering skillset; hands-on experience highly valued such as experience working on caravans, trucks, or vans
Mechanically minded, with experience in assembly, air conditioning, electrical, or technical work highly regarded
Trade qualification or vehicle building experience advantageous although not essential
This role would be well suited to someone with a background in auto electrical, vehicle building, motor mechanics, fitters, or refrigeration mechanics.

All applicants will be required to participate in a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test to be successful in this role.
Additional Information
4-day work week: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm
