Full-Time | Nikola Estate

Nikola Estate is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Kitchen Hand / Prep Hand to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in a professional kitchen and learn from an experienced team in a beautiful estate environment.

About the Role

Working closely with our kitchen team, you’ll assist with the day-to-day preparation and operation of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, energetic and keen to learn.

Your responsibilities will include
Assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen prep
Washing, peeling, chopping and preparing ingredients
Assisting chefs with preparation for service
Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
Washing dishes and keeping kitchen equipment and work areas clean
Receiving and putting away kitchen supplies
Assisting with stock rotation and storage
Supporting the kitchen team wherever required
Following food safety,



hygiene and workplace procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who:
Is genuinely interested in food and working in a kitchen environment
Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
Is willing to learn and take direction
Has a positive, can-do attitude
Works well as part of a team
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organised
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful
