About The Role
n
As an Industrial Vacuum Operator, you'll play a vital role in delivering essential environmental and industrial services across site locations. This is a hands‐on role where safety, teamwork, and reliability are key.
n
You'll be working across operational sites supporting vacuuming, cleaning, and environmental services using specialised equipment in a supportive team setting.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Operating vacuum trucks and travelling to job sites (short travel distances)
n
Completing safety documentation before work, including:n n
Take 5
n
SLAMS
n
JSEA
n
Isolation permits and lock out/tag out procedures
n
n
Setting up and managing vacuum hoses across multi-level structures
n
Working in confined spaces and at heights safely and effectively
n
Performing industrial cleaning tasks, including vacuuming coal ash and dust cells
n
Supporting additional services such as:n
n
Hydro excavation (non‐destructive digging)
n
Environmental spill response and clean‐up
n
n
Maintaining equipment, cleaning trucks, and ensuring high housekeeping standards
n
n

Required Qualifications

Confined Space Entry certification

Working at Heights certification
