Job Description

The Modular Study Group (MSG) is a hybrid education programme that combines the strengths of homeschooling, online learning and classroom teaching for the children of missionaries.

MSG in Southeast Asia, is seeking an English Teacher to teach middle and high school students within its modular learning programme. Students gather for intensive classroom instruction during monthly modules and continue their studies independently between sessions.

The successful candidate will help students develop robust skills in reading, writing, communication and critical thinking. Through engaging lessons and personal encouragement, you will inspire a love of learning while helping students grow academically and spiritually.

You will work closely with missionary families and fellow educators to support students from diverse international backgrounds.



This role offers a meaningful chance to invest in the lives of missionary children while helping families remain effective in their ministry throughout Southeast Asia.

Requirements

A committed Christian with a heart for missionary education.
n
A degree in English, Literature, Education or a related field.
n
Teaching experience at secondary or high school level.
n
Ability to teach English language, literature, writing and communication skills.
n
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
n
Ability to support independent and self-directed learning.
n
Good spoken and written English.
n
Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural workplace.
n
A servant-hearted attitude and willingness to support missionary families.
n
Previous cross-cultural experience is helpful but not essential.
