This is a technically strong role for someone who wants to bring Big 4 or mid-tier trained discipline into a quick-moving business, owning the numbers with precision and building the control environment around them.
The Role
Own the month-end close and management reporting suite, ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery to the CFO and leadership team
Manage statutory reporting and year-end financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Act as the key point of contact for external auditors, managing the annual audit process end to end
Maintain and strengthen the internal control environment,
identifying and remediating control gaps
Ensure balance sheet integrity through robust reconciliation and review processes
Lead continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems to strengthen accuracy, efficiency and governance
Support the CFO on technical accounting matters and ad hoc reporting requirements
About You
CA qualified, ideally with your foundations in a mid-tier or Big 4 audit firm before transitioning into industry
Strong technical grounding in financial accounting, statutory reporting and internal controls
Manufacturing, industrial or another operational environment highly regarded
Comfortable operating close to the CFO, with solid attention to detail and technical rigour
Advanced Excel skills and solid financial systems capability
