Austek Roads is expanding its services into ACT and we're looking for Asphalt Crew Members to join our energetic team based in Hume. We deliver high-quality asphalt surfacing, patching, and civil projects across the ACT and surrounding regions, with a solid reputation for reliability, performance, and customer service.

What you'll be doing

n

n
Assisting the asphalt paving crew with the setup, operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment
n
Ensuring the safe and efficient placement of asphalt material on project sites
n
Performing manual labour tasks such as shovelling, raking and tamping asphalt
n
Participating in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas
n
Collaborating with the wider construction crew to deliver high-quality asphalt paving work
n
Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
n

What we're looking for

n

n




Previous experience as an Asphalt Crew Member preferred but we are willing to provide training to the right candidate
n
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment
n
Robust physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
n
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
n
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
n
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Silica and Asbestos awareness training
n
Crew Truck Driver
n
Level Hands
n
Paver Operator
n
