Tasty One is a family-owned Australian food manufacturer supplying fresh fruit and vegetable products to some of Australia's leading food brands. We're looking for a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our Maintenance team and develop their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.

This is an excellent prospect for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate who wants hands-on experience with plant equipment, maintenance systems and continuous improvement projects.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll work alongside experienced maintenance professionals to improve plant performance and reliability.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

Producing and updating CAD drawings
n
Assisting with equipment design and modifications
n
Supporting preventative maintenance activities
n
Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment
n




Investigating equipment issues and supporting root cause analysis
n
Developing maintenance documentation
n
Identifying process improvement opportunities
n
Working collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams
n

About You

n

You will have:

n

n
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
n
CAD experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)
n
Strong problem-solving skills
n
A genuine interest in manufacturing and engineering
n
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Manufacturing or food industry exposure
n
Internship or work placement experience
n
Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems
n
Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
n
