Visy Food Can is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Yatala team. This is an ongoing casual chance with the potential to transition into a permanent full time role.

About the Role

Rotating Day Shifts: 6:00am - 6:00pm
n
Monday to Friday only roster
n
Working 3 days one week and 4 days the next
n
Pay rate $47.46 (Casual) per hour plus Overtime
n
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Operate and monitor high-speed production machinery.
n
Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic mechanical adjustments.
n
Conduct quality inspections and defect analysis.
n
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
n
Minimise downtime through proactive problem-solving.
n
Complete production and maintenance records accurately.
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous machine operating experience in a high-speed FMCG environment.
n
Experience within food, beverage, packaging, or manufacturing industries.
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
Strong focus on workplace health and safety.
n
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work 12-hour shifts.
n
Forklift License highly regarded.
n
