We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and dedicated Deli Front Hand to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our deli counter, providing excellent service, slicing meats to order, and ensuring our display cases are well-stocked and clean.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve deli meats, cheeses, olives & more.

Slicing & Portioning: Safely operate commercial meat slicers to cut products to customer specifications.

Stock & Merchandising: Restock display cabinets, rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods, and ensure pricing tickets are correct.

Hygiene & Cleaning: Maintain clean counters, sanitise slicers, wash utensils, and follow strict food safety guidelines.

Skills & Requirements

Experience: Previous retail deli, butcher, or cafe experience is highly regarded.

Slicer Skills: Confident and protected operation of commercial deli slicers.

Availability: Must be available for full time hours (38 hours per week)

Attributes: High standard of personal hygiene, robust communication skills, and a friendly attitude.
