As a Shift Leader at our Gympie restaurant, you play a critical role in how each shift runs - leading the team, maintaining standards, and ensuring every guest leaves with a great experience.

This is a hands on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving performance on shift and supporting the team in a fast paced environment.

About the Role
n
As a Shift Leader, you will:
n

Lead shifts and support the team to deliver strong service and food quality
n
Coach, motivate and direct crew throughout the shift
n
Maintain high standards across food safety, cleanliness and operations
n
Ensure smooth shift execution, especially during peak periods
n
Communicate clearly and keep the team focused and on task
n
Work closely with senior management to drive performance and consistency
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who:

n
Has experience leading or supervising a team in a quick-paced environment
n
Is confident taking charge and directing a team during busy periods
n
Leads from the front and is not afraid to get involved
n
Communicates clearly and holds team members accountable
n
Takes pride in high standards and consistent execution
n
Brings energy and focus to every shift
n
n
This role requires:

Availability across evenings and weekends
n
Ability to work late nights
n
Flexibility to support peak trade periods
n
Responsible Service of Alcohol
n
First Aid & CPR - these can be obtained on employment
n
