About the role

n

A Pick Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, labeling, and preparing food products for distribution while maintaining quality, safety, and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate is able to work in a rapid-paced environment, follow instructions carefully, and contribute to efficient daily production operations.

What you'll do

n

Picking and Packing dry and chilled product
n
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and report discrepancies
n
Select items from shelves based on order specifications, ensuring accuracy
n
Safely pack items for dispatch,



using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
n
Hand wrap pallets of products ready for dispatch
n
Create and attach labels to packages for easy identification.
n
Keep the work area organized and clean to ensure safety and efficiency.
n

Qualifications

n

n
Previous pick and pack experience is not essential but highly regarded
n
Must be reliable, with an exceptional attitude towards safety and teamwork
n
Must be physically fit as vertical lifting (manual handling) is a component of this role
n
Proficient English (reading, written and spoken)
n
Must have valid right to work in Australia
n
Must be able to work, versatile with shifts
n
Solid understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry.
n
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
n
Robust attention to detail and teamwork skills.
