OSHC Assistant Educator - Jerrabomberra, NSW

VillageOSHC, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Assistant at Jerrabomberra Public School in Jerrabomberra to play, teach, and take care of children in a protected learning environment in Outside School Hours Care.

n

Base pay: A$31.00/yr – A$41.00/yr (plus 15% Retention Payment and superannuation).

n

This is a casual position and requires availability Monday to Friday.

The Role

n

Before School Care 7:00am to 9:00am
n
After School Care 3:00pm to 6:00pm
n
Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are protected, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value
n
Supervise and support children
n
Prepare and serve healthy food options
n
Create an engaging and happy environment for children
n
Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community
n

About You

n

n
Engaging and warm personality
n
Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting
n
Excellent communication and people skills
n




Hold Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care (or studying towards) or equivalent
n
Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
n
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)
n
Child Protection Training Certificate
n
