As an Airfield Engineer in the Air Force, you'll develop and maintain infrastructure, survey airfields and establish temporary runways in remote locations. Working with tradespeople and contractors, you'll play a crucial role in Air Force capability by providing advice on the provision and protection of airbases, onshore and offshore airfields, and air power.

Salary

The base pay range is A$100,000.00/yr to A$110,000.00/yr. During study you will earn a salary starting from A$52,773. Upon graduation and completion of initial military and employment training you will enjoy a salary package starting from A$108,786 per annum.

Location
n
Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley or Williamtown.

Eligibility
n
You must be at least 17 at the time of entry, an Australian citizen, and have passed Year 12 with a qualifying entrance rank for a Bachelor of Civil Engineering at UNSW. If you are not an Australian Citizen, confirm you meet the requirements for a career in the ADF.
