Our client is looking for a Corporate & Commercial / M&A; Partner who can bring a transportable practice and lead matters end-to-end. This role suits a senior practitioner with recurring deal flow or a consistent SME/investor client base who enjoys originating work, retaining key relationships and delivering outcomes at pace.
M&A; (share/asset deals), restructures and strategic transactions
Shareholder arrangements, joint ventures and private client structures
Corporate advisory, governance and day-to-day commercial matters
Negotiation-led work with direct access to key decision makers
About the Firm and team:
The Corporate M&A; Team currently comprises of two Partners, 2 x Special Counsel and a team of junior lawyers
Our client is a next-generation Australian commercial law firm with offices in Sydney and Brisbane. The firm operates across core commercial areas including corporate & commercial, banking & finance, property and disputes
In Sydney, our client’s office is located on Bligh Street in the CBD, offering a premium environment to meet clients and run transactions efficiently.
Salary and features:
Guide Range : $250,000 - $400,000
Performance upside is a genuine differentiator,
with a fair and achievable revenue hurdle set significantly lower than typical BigLaw or mid-tier benchmarks.
Generous bonus / profit-share applies to all revenue above the hurdle, so the profit-share zone is reached far earlier.
