We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team in Woolloongabba on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role is ideal for a proactive AR professional with strong collections experience who enjoys building relationships, resolving account issues, and driving positive cash flow outcomes. You'll play a key role in managing debtor accounts, reducing aged debt, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage collections activities and follow up outstanding accounts
Maintain customer accounts and debtor ledgers
Process high-volume invoicing and account reconciliations
Resolve payment queries and customer disputes
Manage claims and support timely invoice payments
Provide responsive customer service and account support
Maintain accurate records and financial data
Partner with internal teams to support finance operations and improve outcomes
About You
3+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections
Proven success managing debtor accounts and collections targets
Solid communication and negotiation skills
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team setting
Experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems is highly regarded
