Disability Support Worker - Raymond Terrace

Are you a compassionate and dependable female Disability Support Worker who is confident supporting people with complex physical care needs?

Nextt is seeking female Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a participant living with a leg amputation. This is an prospect to provide meaningful, hands-on support while helping the participant maintain their comfort, dignity and independence.

The role is 2:1 support, with two Support Workers rostered to each shift.

About the Role
Personal care and continence support
Mobility assistance and manual handling
Medication assistance
Diabetes support
Pressure care and wound management
Domestic assistance and household tasks
Following Behaviour Support strategies and individual support plans
Supporting the participant to remain as independent and comfortable as possible
Completing transparent and accurate shift notes and communicating with the wider support team

Shift Details
Monday to Sunday
7:00am - 9:00am
2 Support Workers per shift
Additional shifts may become available

We're looking for Support Workers who can provide consistent and dependable availability.

Pay Rates




Base hourly rate: $36.81/hr
Afternoon shift (ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday-Friday): $40.49/hr
Active Night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday-Friday): $41.23/hr
Saturday: $51.54/hr
Sunday: $66.26/hr
Public Holiday: $80.99/hr

What We’re Looking For
Experienced or confident in providing personal and complex care
Comfortable with manual handling and mobility support
Confident assisting with continence, bowel and pressure care
Able to follow individual support plans and Behaviour Support strategies
Reliable, qualified and respectful
Strong communicators who understand the importance of accurate documentation
