ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Are you interested in undertaking your clinical placement with the supportive Maternal and Child Health team at South Gippsland Shire Council?

n

We are now taking applications from Child and Family Health University students to undertake their clinical placement with us in 2027.

n

Our team supports aspiring Maternal and Child Health Nurses with clinical placements to support full time and part-time university enrolments. Our service provides qualified nursing and midwifery support and advice for families with children from birth to school age.

ABOUT YOU

n

Application requirements include:

n

n
Having at least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse and three years' experience as a hospital-based Midwife
n
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
n
Preparation to enrol in a university postgraduate Child and Family Health qualification once a placement is confirmed
n




Availability to attend block placements (minimum two days per week recommended)
n
Ability to complete all pre-placement checks, including reference checks, and provide confirmation of University conducted police check and employee Working with Children Check
n
