We are a growing and dynamic business seeking a reliable and organised Administration & Bookkeeping Officer to join our team. This position is approximately:
2 days per week focused on administration and office support
3 days per week focused on bookkeeping and accounts functions

You will work closely with management and play an significant role in the day-to-day operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Administration
General office administration and reception duties
Managing correspondence, emails and phone enquiries
Maintaining post, filing and other documents
Scheduling appointments and meetings
Supporting management with ad hoc administrative tasks

Bookkeeping
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank reconciliations and cash in and out monthly reports
Processing invoices and payments
Payroll support and record maintenance
Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero/MYOB
Liaising with external accountants as required





About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in administration and/or bookkeeping
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with Xero/MYOB or similar accounting software
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Preferred
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting
Experience in a small business workplace
