We are looking for a culinary creator to lead our commercial-style kitchen and nourish the next generation! Step into a skilled, commercial-style kitchen designed for excellence. Operating from 6:30am - 6:30pm, you will have the autonomy to design, prepare, and deliver vibrant, balanced, and nutritional menus for 141 curious little foodies. At Eden, we believe healthy bodies lead to hungry minds!

As Our New Chef, You Will
Plan and prepare daily meals in line with nutrition guidelines and centre requirements
Cater to diverse dietary needs with confidence and care
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
Engage with children and educators to promote healthy eating habits
Build genuine connections with families and create sense of community

What You’ll Bring
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery OR
Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent
Food Safety Certificate
A current Working with Children Check




Strong understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
Australian Working Rights
Impeccable personal presentation
Experience in menu creation, bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control
Proven experience in commercial cooking
Availability to work Monday to Friday
Comfortable supporting and participating in the Catholic identity of the service, including prayer, faith-based celebrations and community events, while embracing the values of the Xavier College community.
