Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items to venue standards
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen
Follow food safety, hygiene, and OH&S; regulations
Assist in stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Support the Head Chef (if applicable) with menu development and specials
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a busy kitchen environment
Robust knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Team player with a positive attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekend as required
Job Type: Casual Pay: From $32.00 per hour
