Clinical Nurse Specialist OR Registered Nurse, Palliative Care

Classification: CNS YS9 or RN YP2-YP9

Ongoing Part-time (0.63EFT)

An chance exists to join our Community Palliative Care Team in a permanent part-time position of up to 0.63 EFT, with additional casual prospects also available.

n

Commencing 3rd August 2026 (or closest dates available).

n

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and flexible nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality palliative care within the community setting. The role involves providing holistic, person-centred care and support to patients and families living with life-limiting illness, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Ideally, applicants will possess:

n

n
Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) experience
n
Postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Care or a related field
n
Demonstrated experience in community and/or palliative care nursing
n
Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills
n

n





Applications are also welcomed from Registered Nurses with a genuine interest in palliative care who are willing to undertake further professional development, such as the Transition to Specialist Practice (TSP) or postgraduate palliative care studies.

n

We are open to versatile staffing arrangements and would consider splitting the EFT across two successful applicants with lower time fractions.
