SustainHealth are seeking a Cardiac EP Technician to provide specialised technical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology procedures on a part‑time basis. This is a unique chance to work collaboratively with electrophysiologists, nurses, radiographers, anaesthetists and other members of an MDT to ensure high-quality patient care.

About the Role
Hospital setting with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and well‑established SOPs
Be responsible for the preparation,
operation and troubleshooting of electrophysiology recording systems, cardiac mapping systems and other associated technologies
Support EPs during diagnostic studies, atrial tachycardia and atrial flutter ablation, PVC ablation, pulmonary vein isolation, atrial fibrillation and more
Perform pacing manoeuvres and programmed electrical stimulation as directed by the electrophysiologist
Acquire, analyse, and interpret intracardiac electrograms under physician direction.
Ensure appropriate image, data, and procedural record management.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) with Cardiac EP Technician experience
Current BLS certification
Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab, EP lab or cardiac device service.
Prior experience operating electrophysiology recording systems
Demonstrable knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and arrhythmia mechanisms
Experience supporting diagnostic studies and ablation procedures.
