Our client is a construction head contractor and as a result of continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor or Foreman to join their team to work on a $200m+ high-rise residential project amongst others.

n

The candidate will ideally have some experience working on head contractor side on 20+ storey high rise residential projects in the Gold Coast / Brisbane / Sunshine Coast market with local knowledge. They will also look at candidates without local experience too ideally looking with high rise residential experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

n

n
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site labour
n
Planning daily works and ensuring tasks are completed to program
n
Managing site activities to maintain productivity and workflow
n
Coordinating deliveries, materials and plant on site
n

n

Quality, Safety & Compliance

n

n
Ensuring all works are delivered to required quality standards
n




Enforcing WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices
n
Conducting toolbox talks, safety inspections and pre-starts
n
Identifying and resolving site issues in a proactive manner
n

n

Program & Reporting Support

n

n
Assisting with short-term programming and look-ahead schedules
n
Reporting progress, issues and delays to the Site Manager
n
Supporting defect management and quality inspections
n
Assisting with project milestones through to completion
n

n

Qualifications and Requirements:

n

n
Trade background preferred
n
Proven experience as a Supervisor/Foreman on residential and/or mixed-use projects
n
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
n
Ability to lead, motivate and manage subcontractors effectively
n
Solid knowledge of Australian building standards and WHS requirements
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
Hands-on, organised and outcomes-focused approach
n
Queensland construction experience ideal
n
