Medical Receptionist – Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our busy, well-established medical centre in Bayside.

n

This is a part-time position of 15–20 hours per week, with additional hours available to provide annual leave and sick leave coverage when required.

n

About the Role

n

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing a busy reception workplace.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service
n
Managing appointments and telephone enquiries
n
Processing patient billing and Medicare claims
n
Maintaining accurate patient records
n
Liaising with doctors and allied health professionals
n
General reception and administrative duties
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (essential)
n
Experience using Best Practice software (preferred)
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Solid organisational and multitasking abilities
n
A professional, friendly, and compassionate manner
n
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
A reliable and flexible approach to work
n
