Australia Post Retail Customer Service officer

This is a great chance for applicants who have Australia Post, Banking or extensive Sales experience. We are a busy Post Office you must be able to work well under pressure during the busy periods.

Tasks and Responsibilities

n

n
Performing customer sales and service transactions
n
Maintaining a cash advance accurately – which includes handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS
n
Promoting and processing a broad range of financial agency transactions through Australia Post's technology systems.
n
Accepting mail items for lodgement, and accurately assessing any applicable charges
n
Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
n
Preparing outward mail for despatch through – including presentation and the cancelling of stamps
n
Assisting with administrative duties .
n




Manually sort the mail and parcels that arrive at workplace each day.
n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
Minimum One year of experience with Australia Post Retail outlet.
n
Looking for a Long term position
n
Police Clearance will be required to work in this role.
