You're a former (or current) journalist who:

n

n
Is naturally persistent, curious and resourceful
n
Thinks independently and backs their own judgement
n
Knows when an angle isn't landing, and how to pivot it quick
n
Has strong media relationships and newsroom credibility
n
Can juggle multiple campaigns without losing momentum
n
Enjoys autonomy and managing their own time in a remote environment
n

The role

n

You'll run PR campaigns end-to-end, owning both strategy and execution. That includes:

n

n
Working directly with clients to develop and shape their stories
n
Creating sharp, newsworthy angles that cut through
n
Writing media releases and tailored pitches
n
Interviewing and managing case studies
n




Pitching and following up with journalists and producers nationally
n
Securing coverage across print, digital, radio and TV
n

n

What you'll need

n

n
Minimum 5 years' experience in a busy newsroom
n
Solid editorial judgement and news sense
n
Confidence pitching stories by email and on the phone
n
The ability to work independently, proactively and remotely
n
